JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions:
Perform PM services (oil changes, tire changes, tire mounting and balancing, grease fittings, change light bulbs, etc.) on vehicles
Perform PM services on equipment
Small engine repairs
Assist mechanics on larger repairs
Learn and develop skills to move up to mechanic position
Perform any other duty or assignment as may be required from time to time by their supervisor
Document records of service and repair work on all trucks and equipment
Competencies:
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations with other employees of the organization.
Ability to use smartphone apps to document and close out work orders
Work Environment:
Work around equipment that is loud and noisy
Work indoors and outdoors
Work around moving equipment
Physical Demands:
Stoop, kneel, and crouch
Use fingers, hands, and arms to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
Work on uneven surfaces and various heights, with fall protection
See and hear well (either naturally or with correction)
Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces
Must be able to lift 50lbs

Required Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent
One year of related experience
Ability to pass DOT physical
Class C Driver’s License (Class A or B beneficial)
