Derek Holt, Shared Services Manager

Derek Holt joined Gunter Construction Company in 2004 as a laborer and brings over 20 years of experience in the natural gas construction industry. In 2011, Derek advanced to Area Supervisor overseeing more than six crews across Fulton, Forsyth, and Dawson Counties—one of the fastest-growing regions in the country at that time. In 2020, Derek was promoted to Manager of the newly created Shared Services Department, where he oversees the daily operations of our Horizontal Directional Drills, Paving Crews, Relight Technicians, and Welders. His extensive field knowledge, leadership experience, and commitment to operational excellence have been instrumental in supporting Gunter Construction’s continued growth and efficiency.
